RBS Training IS Mandatory. Effective July 1, 2022, RBS training is required by CA Assembly Bill 1221 and Assembly Bill 82. On-premises alcoholic beverage servers and their managers must successfully complete an ABC approved RBS training program and exam no later than August 31, 2022, or within 60 days of initial employment.

REGISTER WITH THE CALIFORNIA ALCOHOL BEVERAGE CONTROL

Register with the ABC here abcbiz.abc.ca.gov, You will need an email address and pay a $3.00 fee to receive your CA ABC 9 Digit Server ID#.

COMPLETE RBS TRAINING COURSE WITH RBS FAST

Return to www.rbsfast.com to begin RBS Training. Simply complete the course at your own pace. No timers.
Please Note: RBS Fast will need your Server ID number to submit your training completion to California ABC for you to be able to complete the required exam.

COMPLETE CALIFORNIA RBS STATE EXAM

Return to abcbiz.abc.ca.gov to complete the OPEN BOOK RBS Certification Exam. RBS Fast will report your completed training within 24 hours to the California Alcohol Beverage Control. You will have 30 days to complete the exam.
